Awesome Waffles ... !! Good Location right off the hwy ... this is an older property (meaning older=good) you get more room inside more parking outside fewer people per acre !! You'd think it was a new property by the updatedness ... next door and in the blocks all around and nearby they've recently completed almost every hotel chain you ever heard of ! It's hop ON & OFF the hwy (very convenient) to go to McAllen (40 min), PaloAlto Battlefield (27min), or SPADREISLAND/THEISLAND(Just under 1 hr).

I stayed here for 5 nights during the dusty part of a home renovation. I was looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable location as I was exhausted and bleeding money from the reno!!! LOL! The stay exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms pristine and newly renovated.

Location was perfect with food option locations all around!! Staff was super accommodating when we needed extra towels and toiletries and always with a sincere smile. Beds were so comfy and loved that room was so spacious.

It was clean!!! NO CARPET! I think that having no carpet is smart. You have no weird odor. NO BUGS . Bedding actually smelled clean. Room was nice and cold. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Security Cameras.

The room was nice and BIG. Wish there had been a microwave in the room and an outlet near the bathroom counter, but other than that, it was a nice room. Akward parking lot, but it is what it is.
